Jul 22, 2011 To access the user library folder on a Mac with OS X Mountain Lion or Lion, issue the following command syntax into the Terminal app, this will toggle the hidden aspect of the folder to be visible again. Chflags nohidden /Library/ Hit the return key to execute the command.
Mack Library hours
Faculty and Staff (BJU and BJA HS): The library will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday by BJU-issued ID cards until further notice. We will seek creative ways to assist those in the BJU family whose lives may not fit in those hours.
Students: Permission is required from your academic dean to access the library. When you receive permission from your dean, you will need to contact the library at either library@bju.edu or BJU ext. 6000 for admittance to the library.
- UMSL at MAC students are more than welcome to use MAC Library's online databases when they are on campus. Remote access to MAC Library's databases are restricted to MAC's students, faculty and staff; however, remote access to databases is available from UMSL's Library.
- Your Mac contains thousands of hidden files and folders that you'll probably never need to access. We explained how to access all hidden files and folders in another tutorial, but there's an easier way to access one of most important hidden folders on your Mac, called the Library folder.
- May 30, 2019 Despite the fact that Apple keeps the Mac Library folder hidden from users, it’s good to learn how to show the Library folder on Mac. You may need to access the Library folder when you need to clear cache, remove the app’s leftovers, edit preference files manually, etc.
- Dec 12, 2016 The User Library folder is hidden by default in MacOS Catalina, MacOS Mojave, macOS High Sierra, and macOS Sierra, but some advanced users may wish to show and access the /Library/ folder, which contains preference files, caches, and application support data.
